2020 NSW Junior State Cup (12-17) Day 3 Abandoned

2020 NSW Junior State Cup (12-17) Day 3 Abandoned

Junior State Championships Coffs Harbour Sunday Play ABANDONED

Unfortunately, due to 100mm of rain falling overnight and the prediction of a further 60mm today (the rain radar currently supports this prediction) the fields will be unplayable.  Therefore, it leaves me with no other option than to call today OFF.

Considering the fields were under water on Thursday I am very grateful we were able to play and complete all the round games.  It is disappointing we don’t get to play today but we can’t control the rain and the fields held up better than anywhere else in Australia but they can’t cope with this much water over the last week.  A big thank you to Russell and his ground staff.

Champions & Runners Up will be declared in our next post as per wet weather policy. Highest qualifiers.

A medal presentation for champion teams and photo for DIV 1 & 2 will take place at the stadium at the following times.

9:30am – 12s &13s

10:00am – 14s & 15s

10:30am – 16s & 17s

Runners Up teams are also invited to collect their prize (in 1st division) or medal (in 2nd division) and have a team photo or simply send a delegate to collect.

To everyone thank you and safe journey home.

Thank you

Bill Harrigan

Tournament Director
