The last of the 2021 NSW Junior State Cup champions have been crowned following a successful four days of competition at Bass Hill.
This year marked the third Junior State Cup (9’s-11’s) tournament held at the Crest Sporting Complex in Bass Hill and once again, it did not disappoint.
Over the course of the four days, 122 teams put their months of training and preparation to test in the hope of finishing on top.
The level of skill and tenacity of teams was the driving force behind the competitive games, however the display of sportsmanship throughout the tournament was second to none.

Girls 9’s
Souths defeated Nepean 4-2
Girls 10’s
Div 1 – Baulkham Hills defeated ACT 3-1
Div 2 – Sutherland defeated Heathcote Engadine 5-2
Boys 10’s
Div 2 – Shellharbour defeated Tamworth 5-3
Girls 11’s
Div 1 – Souths defeated Nepean 5-2
Div 2 – Shellharbour defeated Tamworth 6-1

The 2021 Junior State Cup Club Champions has come down to a single point following some exhilarating Finals from the 9’s, all the way to the 17’s.
Australian Oztag (AO) wish to congratulate Central Coast who finished in first place on 78 points; in a close second on 77 points was Souths and trailing slightly behind in third was Baulkham Hills on 73 points.
AO were extremely pleased with the running of both Junior State Cup Tournaments, in Coffs Harbour and Bass Hill. The success is a credit to everyone who attended; their compliance with regulations and consistent support was greatly appreciated.
