The 2022 Senior Australian Championships has kicked off in Coffs Harbour, with the East Coast Dolphins leading the race for Region Champions.
In perfect conditions, 129 teams took the field for day one of the much-anticipated Senior Australian Championships in Coffs Harbour.
For the first time since 2019, senior associations combined to represent their region, forging some incredibly elite sides.
The energy and level of talent among these teams made for an impressive first day of competition – the atmosphere electric, as many games came down to the wire.
At the conclusion of day one, the East Coast Dolphins are current front runners for Region Champions, with five teams across the 15 divisions sitting at the top of their table. Central Coast trail closely in second with four.
