The 2024 Senior National Champions have been crowned following an action-packed weekend in Coffs Harbour.
The highly-anticipated Senior Australian Championships kicked off on Friday 1 November in Coffs Harbour, with 136 teams from across the country determined to claim the National title.
Sunday’s Finals saw players rise to the occasion, the atmosphere electric as numerous qualifiers went into extra-time.
With Australian selection on the table ahead of the 2025 Trans Tasman, teams grew even more determined to leave nothing in the tank.
The East Coast Dolphins Mens 50s won heir fifth consecutive title, while the Central Coast Mens Opens were unstoppable in their pursuit of four in row.
Also continuing their dynasty was the Storm Mixed Opens, defeating Hunter Miners to claim their third straight National title.
Going back-to-back was the Storm Mixed 20s, Warriors Mens 30s, Patriots Mens 45s, Marlins Mens 55s and Central Coast Mens 60s.
Australian Oztag are pleased to announce the 2024 Senior Region Champions, on 87 points, Central Coast.
Across the 17 divisions, Central Coast had 12 teams qualify for Semis. Six of these progressed to the Grand Final, and an incredible five took home gold.
Trailing in second place were the East Coast Dolphins on 78 points, while the West Tigers and Southern Storm finished equal third on 47 points.
Central Coast will receive a $2000 prize for taking out the Championship title – $1000 for their region and $1000 for their chosen charity.

Mixed 20s: Storm defeated Warriors 4-3

Mixed Opens: Storm defeated Hunter Miners 6-4
Womens 27s: Dolphins defeated ACT 3-2
Men’s 30s: Warriors defeated Tigers 6-3
Senior Mixed: Dolphins defeated Marlins 9-2
Mens 35s: Central Coast defeated Warriors 5-0
Womens 37s: ACT defeated Mariners 2-1
Mens 40s: Central Coast defeated Dolphins 6-1
Mens 45s: Patriots defeated Storm 4-3
Womens 47s: Steelers defeated Dolphins 3-1
Mens 50s: Dolphins defeated Steelers 5-1
Mens 55s: Marlins defeated Dolphins 4-1
Mens 60s: Central Coast defeated Steelers 3-2
