Day one of competition kicked off with a bang as 202 teams proved determined to lay it all on the line for the National title.
Across 28 fields at C.ex Stadium, players from across New South Wales, Queensland and ACT braved the heat and took the field with unwavering energy.
The skill and sheer tenacity on display made for some quality Oztag, and a spectacular atmosphere on day one.
The stakes are raised even higher for the Under 14s through to 17s as they compete, not only for a national title, but for Australian selection ahead of the 2025 International Tag event in August.
The Under 16s Tagaroos squad will be selected from the Under 14s and 15s divisions.
The Under 18s Tagaroos squad will be selected from the Under 16s and 17s divisions.
At the conclusion of Friday’s round games, many teams sit on equal points, meaning we are no doubt in store for some quality matches tomorrow.
